About PINFOX

PINFOX stores details of staff members' activities.

PINFOX is available at https://tools.ndm.ox.ac.uk/pinfoxPlease read our terms & conditions.

A cut down version of Pinfox, called the NDM Dashboard, is also available via your haiku website profile. It allows you to add Dphil projects and collaborations.

Accessing the system

To access the system go to https://tools.ndm.ox.ac.uk/pinfox

Login using your Oxford single-sign-on authentication details.

You can also be granted access without an Oxford SSO. To request this click the "Request Access" from the login screen and give details of your requirements.

Viewing your profile details

Click your SSO username in the top right corner

Editing your collaborators

From your profile details page expand the Collaborations section

Click Edit Collaborators

Change the order of existing collaborators by dragging them using the icons to the left of the rows

To add a collaborator:

• Type all, or the start, of the surname of the person you wish to add as a collaborator and wait for a few seconds to check if anything comes up
• If this person is already in PINFOX, they will appear as a dropdown list, you can select them and they will automatically be added
• If the collaborator is not in PINFOX (i.e. doesn't show in the drop down list), press ‘Enter' and fill in details for this collaborator.
• When saving, you will need to confirm the location, either by selecting an option from the list offered by GoogleMaps, or by adding in a valid postal address; post codes (zip codes) are less precise but will give a point on the map; in last resort add in the city's name.

Editing your DPhil themes

From your profile details page expand the DPhil themes section

Click Add DPhil theme, enter the required details and click Save

Once the project information has been completed, click 'Save' to accept the changes.

Note: new DPhil projects will be reviewed before appearing on the website

You can now view and edit the other sections of the DPhil project

NDM Dashboard

A cut down version of Pinfox is available by going to your personal profile on a Haiku-based website, logging in and clicking the orange "NDM Dashboard" button
